VINTAGE INTRODUCES V52 + V62 ELECTRICS
IN REGULAR AND ICON VERSIONS

With the appeal of one of the first mass-produced 'single cut 'n' single coil' style of electric guitars still showing no sign of diminishing even after almost 60 years – and rightly so, why should it? – Vintage has added four interesting takes on the stalwart design to its catalogue.

The V52 and V62 guitars offer a playing experience in this style of guitar that nudges the enjoyment factor well up to the upper end of the scale. The Vintage V52 gives the guitarist a taste of the early days of this guitar style's 1950's beginnings in country, rockabilly and fledgling rock and roll with its mellow butterscotch finish over an alder body along with a one-piece bolt-on maple neck. Meantime, the V62 offers a translucent blonde finish over its alder body, while the gently C-sectioned maple neck this time carries a smooth rosewood fretboard.

As always with the Vintage range, guitar design ubermeister Trev Wilkinson has overseen production, ensuring that the performance of the pickups on these guitars is more than capable of matching the good looks. As such, all V52/V62 pickups are alnico-powered for maximum tone 'n' twang, alongside the conventional T-type horizontal 3-way pickup selector on the control plate.

Many guitarists have become huge fans of the the Vintage Icon range of pre-distressed electric guitars, now available in many of the best-known guitar styles. Undoubtedly they'll be more than eager to snap up the competitively-priced Icon versions of these exciting new guitars, the V52MRBS and V62MRAB with their cool-looking wear-worn bodies, neck and fretboards, plus the age-distressed hardware...feels good!

And if 'new and shiny' is more of a boat-floater for you...then pristine, identically-specified V52 and V62 versions are also available, and at a slightly cheaper price too!

One more thing – being the detail freak that he is, Trev can't quite leave it at that. So there's the period-correct single ply distressed black scratchplate on the V52 and V52 Icon, but even better is the up-specced Wilkinson WVOB bridge pickup with its flat-level alnico polepieces surrounded by Trev's custom wound construction, giving even more of that lovely dry trademark 50's 'bite' in the V52 Icon's dynamic twang!

And of course, Vintage's always-competitive retail prices continue to make these guitars amazing value for their specification!
