PP Drums introduce an affordable Cajón
Brand new to the PP Drum range, the PP142 Cajon is a great addition
to any drummer or percussionist's arsenal.
Ideal for acoustic gigs or jam sessions where a full kit would be too
excessive, the Cajón's (pronounced ca-hon) origins hark back
to nineteenth-century South America, where it became a major part of
Afro-Cuban dance music. The player sits astride the Cajón, and
strikes and slaps at the back and sides with his or her hands to create
different percussive sounds.
Tilting the box at an angle while playing will also change the tone
and timbre, while interior snares add extra 'snap' effects.

The attractively coloured wood Cajón with decorative sound hole
motif measures 48cm x 31cm x 30cm, and with non-slip rubber feet for
extra grip, the PP142 Cajón includes a padded carry bag to keep
it safe when in transit or storage.
At £69.99 the PP Drum Cajón is within every drummers reach
and would also make and ideal music school room instrument.
