Cliff Richard |
(L) Dennis
Drumm, (R) Dave Sumner
with the 2000th Anniversary Guitar Aid guitar. |
John
Hornby Skewes & Co. Ltd., is pleased to announce that its long co-operation
with the 'Guitar Aid' evangelical missionary charity will now benefit
from Sir Cliff Richard agreeing to become the charity’s honorary
Patron.
Whilst Sir Cliff’s patronage will be non participatory, both Dave
Sumner, the founder and Director of Guitar Aid, and John Hornby Skewes’
Managing Director, Dennis Drumm, are very grateful for the consideration
given by Sir Cliff to the charity’s objectives, and his understanding
that lending his name as patron will only strengthen the effectiveness
of the Guitar Aid’s efforts to empower others to worship, by providing
instruments for those unable to obtain or afford them.
To date, Guitar Aid has given, through the generosity of its sponsors,
over 2000 guitars to those hungry to make music in worship in more than
90 countries.
JHS is delighted to support the Charity and be the provider of the specially
created Guitar Aid guitars, based upon popular models from its Vintage®
range.
Information on Guitar Aid, including how to become a sponsor, can be
