Dave
'Bucket' Colwell – FREE acoustic Show
at Manchester's Hard Rock Café on April 17th!
Dave Bucket Colwell will travel to Manchester this weekend to bring
his new album to fans – unplugged.
On Sunday April 17th, Bucket, together with Bucket & Co. vocalist
Ronan Kavanagh, will perform an intimate acoustic set at Manchester's
Hard Rock Café.
The free gig promises to be more than a little bit special, as the pair
will undoubtedly crack out a few numbers from the soon to be released
Bucket & Co debut album, Guitars, Beers & Tears. The show, which
starts at 9pm, will also feature a few old favourites from Bucket's
former band, Bad Company.
Bucket is a long-time player and endorser of Vintage guitars, and will
be playing his distressed Vintage Icon V52MRBS, as well as strumming
a few numbers on his Vintage VEC350 electro-acoustic model. Vintage
guitars are distributed worldwide by John Hornby Skewes & Co. Ltd.
Guitars, Beers & Tears features 12 tracks of quality guitar-driven
rock 'n' roll, and Bucket is joined by an all star list of friends including
Iron Maiden’s Adrian Smith, Edwin McCain, Steve Conte (New York
Dolls), Spike (The Quireboys) and Mark Reid (A1) among others. The album
features songs written by Bucket as well as famed country singer/songwriter
Tommy Lee James (who has over 50 #1 hits to his name).
Bucket said: ''We are really looking forward to the show, and will be
playing songs from my soon to be released album Guitars, Beers &
Tears. I like playing the songs bared down to an acoustic format, because
it gives them more intimacy.
Depending on how we feel on the night, we'll probably play a couple
of Bad Company classics from my past and anything else! Naturally, I
will be playing my trusty Vintage V52 & VEC350 guitars.'
