JHS TO DISTRIBUTE DIAGO PEDAL BOARDS

Effective Jan 1st 2009, music distributor John Hornby Skewes & Co. Ltd. will be the exclusive UK & Eire trade distributor for DIAGO (pronounced Dee-yay-go) professional pedal board cases and accessories. In the short time since their market launch, Diago pedal boards have gained a considerable reputation as an extremely high-quality solution to the age-old problem of carrying multiple effects pedals and processors – indisputably the most convenient way to organise, protect and transport your effects pedals. And with some boutique and vintage effects units now costing many hundreds of pounds, it's best that they get the maximum protection possible from unrelenting road use and abuse...

Diago pedal boards feature rugged 1/2" plywood panel construction covered in road-resistant fabric, with case lid and base components being secured by heavy duty lock-ring style catches. Available in three board sizes, from the compact 'Gigman', to the mid-size 'Showman' option, up to the humungous guitar case-sized 'Tourman', Diago pedal boards are capable of easily holding a variety of many different pedal size formats.

A length of extremely adhesive Velcro hook tape is supplied with each board which, when cut and applied to the pedal base, offers a totally secure fix to the Velcro loop-covered pedal board base section.

A high-density, foam-packed detachable lid keeps all pedals and power units firmly in situ during transit. And with prices for Diago pedal board cases starting from under £100 rrp, they represent an exceedingly competitively-priced purchase, certainly considering the level of constructional quality on offer.

DIAGO ACCESSORIES
A number of accessories are also available for Diago pedal boards, including the impressive Diago Powerstation pedal board power supply unit. Utilising digital switch mode technology for quiet and efficient operation, this studio-quality, compact-dimensioned PSU can power up to an incredible 30 pedals should you so wish – without noise or hum. Optional power lead adapters mean it can be used worldwide, in any country, and Powerstation can work with some 95% of pedals thanks to a comprehensive selection of available connectors – all type approved, thanks to Powerstation having satisfied all national and international safety and use regulations. It's the perfect power supply solution for any pedal board – especially Diago boards.

Deluxe Daisy Chain power supply cable links are also available from Diago. Want to add another pedal to your line-up? Simply attach another daisy chain link to power it – it's as easy as that.

Conceived and designed by young West Yorkshire-based electronics engineer, James Kitchen, Diago pedal boards represent a truly professional answer to multiple guitar, bass and keyboards effects pedal usage. “I’m delighted to now be involved with JHS,” comments James Kitchen. “The fact that JHS is a family-owned company is an important factor for me. JHS as a company has its feet firmly on the ground, and it’s exciting that they are really getting behind Diago products. The JHS distribution network will enable Diago to reach end users on a far more widespread basis and far quicker than I could have managed independently, leaving me with more time to concentrate on additional work including developing the product range.”
