Vintage
and Fret-King guitars in China as JHS signs exclusive distribution deal
with TeamJet Music
Worldwide trade distributor John Hornby Skewes & Co. Ltd. has signed
an exclusive distribution deal with China's TeamJet Music, who will
unveil the Vintage® and Fret-King® ranges at October's Music
China show in Shanghai.
TJM will be taking on the Vintage electric and acoustic lines and the
entire Fret-King catalogue, and will be showing more than 30 instruments
in Shanghai, including examples from the Vintage ReIssued, Icon and
acoustic ranges, as well as the groundbreaking Fret-King Super-matic
selftuning guitar, the Fret-King Blue Label line and the brand new Fret-King
Black Label JD guitar, designed in cooperation with master string-bender
Jerry Donahue.
Adam Butterworth, JHS's Export Sales Manager, said: “I'm extremely
pleased to be launching the Vintage and Fret-King brands in China with
TeamJet Music. They have many years of experience of trading in China
and have a fantastic and dedicated team to introduce the two brands
at the upcoming Music China show, which is also an important exhibition
for all our international partners.”
With China's foremost trade show as its starting point, TeamJet's distribution
of the JHS brands should get off to a strong start, and the firm's many
years of experience in the MI industry will doubtless stand them in
good stead for future growth.
Kenny Qian, TeamJet Music's Product Manager, said: “We're very
happy to be a new member of the JHS family. TJM has been looking for
some good guitar brands in the past year, and now I think we've found
them! The Chinese market is a huge potential market, and I'm sure we
can work together to discover and expand the market share.”
Visit the TeamJet stand – where JHS will also have a presence
– at the Music China show at Booth W2E48.
