KUSTOM – THE AMP OF CHOICE FOR B.B. KING'S BLUES CLUBS
To celebrate the opening night of his latest namesake club in Las Vegas,
legendary bluesman B.B. King, along with a stellar array of his musician
friends, put on a once-in-a-lifetime show to the packed appreciative
audience.
With performances from Willie Nelson, Buddy Guy, Robert Cray, Lee Ritenour
and Steve Cropper, the musical fireworks lit up the night with explosive
guitar playing and unforgettable songs.
Backline support was provided by Kustom, the Official Amplifier of B.B.
King's Blues Clubs, with guitar and bass amplifiers on stage at B.B.
Kings locations in Memphis, Nashville, Orlando, West Palm Beach and
now, Las Vegas. The new club is located in The Mirage Hotel on the famed
Miracle Mile.
The venue, which seats 558 visitors, provides live music seven nights
a week and features B.B. King's All-Star Band every Tuesday through
Saturday nights. Kustom all-tube Coupe, Defender and Double Cross guitar
amplifiers offer a wide range of tonal options for the All-Star Band
and visiting stars, from vintage clean to modern and mean.
In addition to performances from all the special guests, B.B. entertained
the enraptured crowd for nearly an hour while backed by Guy, Cray and
Cropper and the All-Star band. Mr. King generously let all the guitarists
solo freely on songs like “The Thrill Is Gone,” creating
a relaxed, spontaneous environment that the crowd ate up.
