JHS'
GAV COULSON CLINIC A HIT FOR THE LIVE MUSIC SHOP IN PETERBOROUGH
Guitar aficionados flocked to the Parkway Sports and Social
Club in Peterborough to enjoy a great evening of guitar
demos, music and information.
Hosted by the Live Music Shop, the event was just one of
the many dates on the recent Gav Coulson winter demo tour,
which took in cities up and down the country, from Middlesbrough
(Middlesbrough Guitar Show) to Stafford (Guitar and Son),
Bolton (Rimmers Music), Merseyside (Merseyside Guitar Show),
Dursley (Intersound) and many others.
Consisting of demos from the JHS Vintage® Re-Issued,
Icon and Advance Series™ guitars, as well as the brand
new Fret-King® Super-matic and its amazing ATD440 self
tuning bridge, the evening proved a hit with the many customers
who attended despite sub-zero temperatures outside.
Paul Blant, Live Music Shop's owner, said: "I really
enjoyed the evening – Gavin is a credit to JHS, and
I picked up loads of handy snippets about the Vintage guitar
range and guitar building in general which I think will
help me when I'm dealing with my customers."
As well as the guitar demos, a raffle was held, with loads
of guitar goodies up for grabs – including the top
prize of a Vintage Icon Series V6MRBK 'Black n Blues' model
kindly donated by the store.
If you would like Gav Coulson to attend your store for a
future demo evening, instore clinic, or staff training session,
he can be contacted on gavinc@jhs.co.uk or 07765
