Top
session artist Neil Taylor joins the Vintage®
family
Neil Taylor, top session player and Robbie Williams' guitarist has become
the latest in a plethora of pro live and session players to join the
Vintage® guitar players family.
Neil, whose live and studio credits include Morrissey, Rod Stewart,
Peter Gabriel, Natalie Imbruglia, Trevor Horn and James Morrisson, to
name but a few, has chosen the V52MRBS, from the popular Vintage Icon
pre-distressed guitar range and the VEC1900N 'Sweetwater' series acoustic
for his upcoming solo tour.
To get an idea of Neil's pedigree, he's the guitar you hear on multi-million
selling hits such as 'Everybody Wants to Rule The World' by Tears For
Fears, 'Rock DJ' by Robbie Williams, 'Steamy Windows' by Tina Turner
and 'Rush Hour' by Jane Weidlin.
Speaking of his new guitars Neil says "My Vintage
V52 is one of the best electric guitars I've played, and I can't put
it down – a friend of mine had one, and after I had a quick play
on it I just knew I had to get one!"
In addition to working on most Robbie albums since 2002, Neil is signed
as a solo artist with Hypertension Records, and is in the process of
releasing an acoustic album.
"I knew I was going to need a good workhorse guitar that can take
the rigours of travel around the world for the acoustic album,"
explains Neil, "but at the same time it needs to perform to the
highest standard. This VEC1900N has a great even top end and is a joy
to play".
Neil is currently touring his new album 'No Self Control' with dates
in UK and Europe.
