JHS & Co. APPOINTED SUB-DISTRIBUTORS OF TANNOY'S VQ LIVE TOURING PA SYSTEMS

TC Group International has announced the appointment of John Hornby Skewes & Co. as UK & ROI sub-distributors of Tannoy’s VQ Live touring PA system.
(August 20th 2010 – Coatbridge, Scotland) UK loudspeaker manufacturer Tannoy is to benefit from a significant change to its UK distribution arrangement for VQ Live with the appointment of John Hornby Skewes (JHS) & Co. Ltd. as exclusive sub-distributor on behalf of TC Group International (TCGI), the sales organisation responsible for all Tannoy sales (with the exception of North and South America). JHS has a long and proven track record in the UK market and takes on responsibility for driving sales and promotion of the recently launched VQ Live range on September 1st.

VQ Live is an evolution of Tannoy’s critically acclaimed VQ Series, bringing the same unique approach to point-source loudspeaker design and unheralded acoustic performance of the fixed-installation loudspeaker range to the touring sound market. Offering significant and tangible benefits over alternative systems: class leading directivity and clarity, far fewer enclosures required and hence significantly lower costs than comparable systems and full VNET implementation (allowing system commissioning and ongoing venue network control, incorporating real time diagnostics), VQ Live offers a genuine alternative to line array systems.

The VQ LIVE system will be on show on Tannoy’s stand (1-B10) at the forthcoming PLASA show at Earl’s Court between Sep 12th – 15th where sales and technical staff will be on hand to discuss this and any other Tannoy products, including recent updates to QFlex, the company’s award-winning digitally steerable array. JHS Pro Audio will also be exhibiting at PLASA (1-E5) where Neville Raine & Stuart McKay will be on hand to take enquiries.
