MEDIA RELATIONS CO-ORDINATOR
A unique and interesting opportunity to work with the
in-house Marketing team
in the Publicity Department of the UK’s leading independent
MI distributor.
This truly varied role will suit an experienced writer with a background
in journalism.
Well developed organisational skills, an established knowledge of
all aspects of the music industry,
a passion for all things musical with excellent, proven communication
skills, editorial experience,
and hands on knowledge of Commercial DTP and web software are all
prerequisites for the role.
Reporting to the Publicity Manager, the successful candidate will
be responsible for generating the PR output of the company,
the production and distribution of media releases, liaising with suppliers
and artistes, working with industry media to manage and organise product
reviews, and develop relationships with general media publications
with the objective of maximising the exposure of the company’s
brands and promoting the company’s corporate image via all channels.
The position also encompasses the creation and compilation of feature
articles, reviews and news stories for the company’s in house
magazine,’ GEAR’. Creating descriptive text and product
specifications for the corporate website, catalogues, advertisements,
instruction manuals, product packaging and copy generally, whenever
and wherever needed.
A degree of UK domestic and international travel, attending trade
shows and exhibitions is required.

SALES OFFICE ASSISTANT
We are currently
recruiting for a Sales Office Assistant to work in our lively and
industrious Sales Office.
The role primarily involves processing Trade Customer Orders and Proactive
Telemarketing, with great emphasis on Customer Care.
Good communication skills are a prerequisite. Industry knowledge and
hands-on experience of Musical Instruments and/or PA equipment would
be an advantage although training will be provided.
