The Clare Free Band
'My
Fret King Eclat is perfect for me because it has a fabulous,
warm, rounded tone, I like that you can adjust between
the humbucker and single coil sounds which makes it
really versatile. Its a particularly good guitar to
gig with because, unlike similar guitars, its not too
heavy so I can play it all night without needing to
stop. The colour and finish is great too, its a very
high quality guitar and I get loads of comments from
from people about the Eclat and how lovely it is. I
literally have not played another guitar since I got
it – I can honestly say this is the best guitar
I have ever had, I love it!' – Clare Free
Clare
Free is one of the fastest rising blues stars around.
Her debut album, Be Who You Are, received rave reviews
around the world, and every track on her follow-up EP,
How It Is, reached the Top 10 charts with international
music distribution company CD Baby in the same week.
Clare first picked up the guitar aged 17 and has never
looked back. Although she started out playing rock,
Clare quickly became hooked on the blues, blending the
playing of her influences – Albert Collins, Luther
Allison and Buddy Guy – into her own unique and
funky style.
Clare has toured extensively in the UK, as well as in
Europe, India and the Caribbean.
