VX Series – The Sound of Reliability
HK AUDIO proudly presents the successor to the popular VC Series: the VX amplifier range. These new amps feature a completely redesigned circuit board layout, front-to-back ventilation, and the output section now includes Speakon jacks in addition to standard binding posts.

The power amplifiers of the VX Series are based on modern voltage-switching technology. This intelligent technology takes into consideration that in real-world applications, sound reinforcement doesn‘t deal with constant sine waves but with dynamically changing music signals; the signal that is actually being reproduced most of the time draws significantly less current than signal peaks. The output section of the VX power amps only draws the amount of voltage from the power supply that is needed at each moment. With the power amp working at optimal efficiency, little power is wasted and the need for heat dissipation is reduced, all of which contributes to long-term reliability. A fortuitous side benefit of the voltage-switching design of the power supply is that it allows the weight of the amplifier to be greatly reduced, making the transport of power amp racks easier. In addition to all the technical advantages, the new VX Series of power amplifiers stand out sonically for their lack of coloration and excellent dynamic range.
