as the perfect complement to the popular line of
the Mondial 6 string electric guitars, the bass
version offers quite monstrous bass tones from that
giganto single polepiece bass humbucker sat right
at the end of the fretboard! But the Mondial bass
is no 'one trick' pony, because you can also blend
in additional tones from the bridge piezo pickup
for some unparalleled tonal textures - or simply
use the piezo on its own for that true acoustic
bass sound! How many other basses can do that? And
look this good while they're doing it? Just look
at what else is going on with the Mondial bass –
a funky Acousti-glas moulded f-hole top is mated
to a centre-jointed agathis tonewood body, with
separate controls for the main neck 'bucker and
the bridge-mounted piezo. And check that adjustable
sliding thumb rest, too – lets you move from

After
we saw the results with the 12 string Rimini, we
just had to do a 6 string version, didn't we? No
more to be said! As with the 12 string, this stylish,
f-hole semi-solid double cutaway guitar has a real
vintage vibe going with a vibrant range of finishes,
including Black, Blue, Cherry Sunburst and Honey
Sunburst. Again, there's that unique headstock in
a 3 + 3 half slot/straight tuner configuration this

Italia
basses echo the designs of some of the most collectable
instruments of the 60's, imbued with a modern and
distinctly original twist. The popular Rimini line
of Italia guitars is now available in a bass version,
again with an f-hole, double cutaway semi-solid
body mated to an elegant easy-to-get-on-with 22
fret neck, with a smooth rosewood fingerboard over
a rigid set maple neck-to-body jointing system.
A more conventional 'paddle' style headstock this
time carries the four Italia die-cast machines,
whilst a tune-o-matic bridge carries the four strings
over to the neat Italia 'action angle' trapeze bridge,
with the two Wilkinson MHB mini humbuckers providing
the tonal heart of the beautiful Rimini bass.
