When
it comes to effects, pedals and stomp boxes are the
professional's choice.
Multi-effect processors are fun to play with, but have
you ever noticed how few of them make it on stage?
Pros prefer dedicated pedals because they know they'll
get the cleanest and strongest effects that way.
Dunlop's
collection of pedals, stomp boxes and electronics are
the units that DEFINED the sounds.
When others speak about their clone pedals and multi-effects
processors, they'll tell you how much they sound "like"
ours. Save time. Buy the best first, and you won't have
to replace it later.
EDDIE
VAN HALEN FLANGER PEDAL
Dunlop
has once again partnered with living legend
Edward Van Halen to present a new spin on
a classic tone. Everyone knows that it was
the MXR Flanger that powered the timeless
Van Halen tunes “Unchained” and
“And the Cradle Will Rock.” Now
you can grab a piece of that world-class tone
with the new MXR EVH 117 Flanger. This amazing
stompbox features the same bucket-brigade
technology that provided the sweeping, whooshing
magic of the original. But we didn’t
stop there. We’ve also added the EVH
Switch, which instantly calls up Eddie’s
“Unchained” sound with the exact
same Manual, Speed, Width, and Regeneration
settings that he used to get one of the greatest
guitar tones of all time. If that’s
not cool enough, we painted the EVH Flanger
with the rocking striped graphics that started
a revolution. Get the MXR EVH 117 Flanger
and hit the ground running.
• EVH Switch activates preset Manual,
Speed, Width, and Regeneration settings for
instant “Unchained” tone
• Original bucket brigade design for
classic analog flanging
• Indestructible die-cast housing in
EVH-approved striped graphics
ZAKK
WYLDE OVERDRIVE PEDAL
Whether
on his groundbreaking work with the Godfather
Of Metal, Ozzy Osbourne, or with his own band,
Black Label Society, Zakk Wylde’s guitar
playing is loud tough and relentless. Zakk’s
take-no-prisoners attitude extends to his
quest for tone, too. When he wanted to develop
his signature overdrive pedal, he got in touch
with effects pedalmeisters, Jim Dunlop, and
the result is the new Wylde Overdrive. This
muscular stompbox will turn your clean amp
into a heavy, chunky, crunch machine! Or,
use it like Zakk does and kick it in front
of a dirty amp sound for a screaming, sustaining
lead tone.
Three
simple controls – Output, Tone and
Drive – make getting the sound happening
easy, and you can concentrate on the business
at hand. Zakk describes it best himself
– “Kicking major ass...”
DIME
DISTORTION PEDAL
When
it comes to guitar, Dime doesn’t need
a ‘warm’ or ‘pretty’
sound. He can’t be bothered with ‘vintage’
this or ‘boutique’ that. He wants
a heavy, aggressive, razor sharp tone that
can slice through a loud band and a louder
crowd. It’s a tone that rages with distortion
but remains tight and focused enough to keep
up with lightning-fast rhythm lines and face
melting solos...
Well, here’s the pedal that can deliver
all that: the Dime® Distortion from MXR!
With its 3-band EQ, proprietary Scoop switch
and ungodly output, this stomp box from Hell
has the guts and the muscle to stand up to
your heaviest displays of power. Crank the
gain, boost the lows and highs and hit the
Scoop switch for a rhythm tone that annihilates!
Dial the mids back in and mow down the competition
with a lead sound that can penetrate steel...
Not subtle, not pretty, but totally effective.
Be the master your distortion.
KERRY
KING 10 BAND EQ PEDAL
Well,
if MXR’s M-108 10-Band EQ wasn’t
heavy enough for you, here from MXR, is its
evil twin, the KFK1 Kerry King 10-Band! Designed
in conjunction with Kerry, legendary guitarist
with the band Slayer, this beastly, tattoo-covered
pedal sports the same great features and hardcore
construction as the MXR M-108, but the King
unit can punish two amps at once thanks to
dual outputs.
Use it as a boost for solos or to create thrash-approved,
scooped-mid rhythm tones. Create raging sustain
and feedback while getting more thunderous
low-end out of your rig than you ever thought
possible...
Controls: A footswitch toggles
Effect on/hardwire bypass and the illuminated
sliders indicate the unit is on. The ten sliders
enable boost or cut up to 12dB at 31.25Hz,
62.5Hz, 125Hz, 250Hz, 500Hz, 1kHz, 2kHz, 4kHz,
8kHz and 16kHz frequencies, with separate
Input Gain and Output Level sliders @ +/-
12dB. Dual outputs offer stereo application.

KERRY
KING LIMITED EDITION Q-ZONE PEDAL
The
original Crybaby Q-Zone has been a mainstay
on Kerry King’s pedalboard through years
of tours and recording sessions. Its unique
design allows Kerry to create a focused and
penetrating “fixed-wah” lead tone
to cut through a band as thick as Slayer!
Years after discontinuing the original, the
Q-Zone has now been reborn as the KFK Q-Zone
with all its tried and true controls intact
and sporting a wicked KFK tattoo graphic.
Use the Volume (up to +18dB), Q-Zone (frequency
breadth), and Peak (frequency center) controls
to sculpt and set the perfect lead sweet spot.
The Q-Zone’s weighted, “stay-put”
knobs keep your settings stable and its heavy-duty
casing, jacks, and pots ensure a lifetime
of use. This limited-edition and numbered
pedal will be available through select dealers
worldwide.

CARBON
COPY ANALOG DELAY PEDAL
The
MXR Carbon Copy Analog Delay features a completely
analog audio path for the ultimate in rich,
warm delay—made possible only by old-school
bucket brigade technology. This design boasts
an amazing 600ms of delay time with optional
modulation via a top-mounted switch and a
simple, three-knob layout that controls Delay
time, Mix (dry/wet blend), and Regen (delay
repeats)—all in a pedal no bigger than
a Phase 90. In addition, two internal trim
pots offer user-adjustable width and rate
control of the modulation for even more tonal
options. The Carbon Copy will take you from
crisp “bathroom” slap echoes to
epic, Gilmour-esque delays with a twist of
a knob. True hardwire bypass, single 9-volt
operation, and stage-ready blue LEDs round
out the package. Available only from Dunlop
Manufacturing, the world’s leader in
analog pedal technology.
STEREO
TREMOLO PEDAL
With
its warm analog circuitry and lush tremolo
sound, the Dunlop TS-1 set the standard for
tremolo pedals for over a decade. The MXR
M159 Tremolo keeps all the effects and controls
of the original—but in a smaller, pedalboard-friendly
size. Its 18-volt operation provides rich
and vibrant sound with low noise due to its
high headroom. With the versatile input/output
options the M-159 can produce hypnotic, pulsing
mono tremolo through a single amp or ping-ponged
from one amp to another in stereo mode for
a huge, spacious tone.
CLASSIC
108 FUZZ PEDAL
Guitarists
of all styles, from Hendrix devotees to garage
rockers and stoner-metal fanatics, will dig
the familiar late-Sixties/early-Seventies
crunch delivered by the new MXR Classic 108
Fuzz. We've taken the guts of our BC-108 loaded
Fuzz Face, placed them in a more pedal-board
friendly shape, and added the modern conveniences
of a battery door, optional AC operation,
and true bypass with LED. A selectable buffer
switch eliminates the audible oscillation
caused when some wah-wahs are placed in front
of a Fuzz Face. The Classic 108 Fuzz, which
comes in a heavy duty, Phase 100-sized box
with a sweet, hammer-tone turquoise finish
and features the high-quality jacks and switches
that have made MXR pedals the road-ready standard
on pedal-boards around the world for over
30 years.
EL
GRANDE BASS FUZZ PEDAL
The
El Grande Bass Fuzz, the latest offering from
MXR Bass Innovations, is a versatile and brutal
fuzz designed just for bass. We took a classic
70’s fuzz circuit, re-tuned it for more
low end, and added a DEEP switch that delivers
up to +15dB of monstrous bass that is internally
adjustable between 87Hz - 113Hz. And that’s
not all: Volume, Tone, and Fuzz controls let
you sculpt your tone with precision to get
everything you need—from searing, sustained
upper-register chords to punchy, growling
low B’s—without sacrificing low
end or clarity. The El Grande comes in a lightweight
but durable aluminum casting with the same
high-quality jacks and switches that have
made MXR pedals the road-ready standard on
pedal-boards around the world for over 30
years.
VINTAGE
1974 PHASE 90 PEDAL
Coveted
by both players and collectors, the MXR Phase
90 set the benchmark for phasers, with its
thick and rich tone. Our in-house workhorse,
purchased in 1974 by Dunlop Senior Engineer
Bob Cedro, was meticulously spec’d and
recreated as the ‘74 Vintage Phase 90.
The hand-wired board features select resistors
paired with hand-matched FETs to achieve the
same smooth and warm modulation as the original.
The ‘74 Vintage Phase 90 comes housed
in the classic orange finished box and is
adorned with the unmistakable Script logo.
Available only from the MXR Custom Shop.
DISTORTION
III PEDAL
The
new Distortion III joins the ranks of MXR
classics—such as the Phase 90 and Dyna
Comp—setting a new benchmark in distortion
tone and quality. Developed from the ground
up using carefully selected components, the
D-III delivers everything from sweet singing
overdrive to massive distortion crunch! It’s
natural and amp-like distortion is versatile
enough to appeal to any playing style and
transparent enough to let your guitar’s
personality shine through. Like all MXR pedals,
the Distortion III features a heavy-duty casing,
switch and jacks for a lifetime of use.
This
device adds a preset amount of gain, using
a single control. With a guitar, this lets
you boost your signal for lead work, adjust
between two different guitars with unmatched
output (i.e. humbucker to single coils),
or it can supply a permanent boost in a
long effects chain where signal dropoff
is a problem.
Controls:
Footswitch toggles effect On/Bypass (red
LED indicates on) Gain knob adjusts
total output volume when micro amp is engaged.
The
Dyna Comp is the compressor that lets you
set a maximum output level and the sensitivity
at which it kicks in. This device can produce
that percussive, clicky sound on a clean
guitar that you've heard on so many pop
hits. It can also even out the volume of
sustained tones for mellow lead work. If
you crave the sound of the original MXR
compressor, there's only one way to get
it ... right here!
Controls:
Footswitch toggles effect On/Bypass (red
LED indicates on) Output knob sets
compressed (attenuated) output level
Sensitivity knob sets compression ratio
(highest sensitivity is maximum compression).
In
the middle ranges of the Output and Distortion
controls, you'll find soft -clipped distortion
tones that sound truly retro-authentic,
especially when they're mixed with a splash
of reverb. Pushing Distortion up higher
produces classic fuzz tones that are finding
their way on to an increasing number of
albums. This flavour of distortion is
a welcome, enjoyable alternative to LA
saturation and British crunch.
Controls:
Footswitch toggles effect On/Bypass (red
LED indicates on) Output knob controls
total output gain Distortion knob
adjusts ratio of clean signal with distortion.
PHASE
90 PEDAL This
device has found its way on to many of
Eddie Van Halen's recordings, adding a
shimmering velocity to lead passages or
a dramatic swoosh to muted strumming.
Not just for guitars; it works well with
bass, keyboards and even vocals. Vary
the speed from a subtle, long cycle to
a fast, watery warble... and myriad vintage
vibrations in between.
Controls:
Footswitch toggles effect On/Bypass
(red LED indicates on) Speed
knob varies rate of phase sweep.
BLUE
BOX PEDAL This
unassuming little box shovels out enough
low frequencies to scare a blue whale.
It takes your guitar signal, fuzzes it
up, then duplicates it two octaves down.
You control the output and the mix between
the dry signal and the effect. Using it
100% wet is quite an experience, but more
recognizable sounds appear as you dial
in more dry signal. The Blue Box is known
for having a chaotic personality that
can make each session a totally unique
experience!
Controls:
Footswitch toggles effect On/Bypass
(red LED indicates on) Output
knob controls total output gain
Blend knob adjusts ratio of dry (clean)
with wet (effects) signal.
STEREO
CHORUS PEDAL This
gorgeous sounding pedal will remind you
how cool chorus can be. Want to add sparkle
to clean-toned arpeggios? Animate strummed
passages? Widen and fatten distorted power
chords? This box will do it all, cleanly
and quietly. Set the Rate and Width controls
to your liking and then dial in as much
effect as you want with the Intensity
knob. Shape the tone even further by EQ-ing
the modulated frequencies with the Bass
and Treble controls. Run in mono or use
the stereo outputs for a huge, vibrant
sound. If you’re looking to preserve
the low end of your guitar tone, the MXR
Stereo Chorus has got you covered with
its Bass Filter button that applies the
effect to the high frequencies only.
A footswitch toggles Effect on/Hardwire
bypass (red LED indicates on); Intensity
control adjusts overall effect level;
Rate and Width knobs tailor chorus tone,
from subtle and sparkly to lush and watery;
Bass and Treble knobs EQ the modulated
frequencies only; Stereo outputs offer
a huge tonal spread while the Bass Filter
button leaves low end intact.
Chorus is one of the most difficult effects
to do justice to, and this MXR unit takes
it to a different level, which has to
be heard to be appreciated. Being a full-on
pro spec unit, it’s an 18 volter
and can only be powered by the (supplied)
Dunlop 18-volt AC adapter.
FLANGER
PEDAL Another
great old favourite MXR pedal back to reclaim
its crown. You can often see guitarists get
all misty-eyed as they recall the great tones
they got from their old MXR Flanger. Well,
dry your eyes, mate, because – it’s
back!
The MXR Flanger is the master of creating
wild sounds, from a dynamic ‘jet plane
passing by’ type of wheeeeoooooosh,
to cool space effects, to short delay, chorus
and vibrato.
Back off the Width control to zero to disengage
auto-sweep, then use the manual rotary to
physically place the effect anywhere along
the frequency spectrum.
A legendary slice of musical history, no question,
and don’t forget you can use this brilliant
pedal with guitar, bass, keyboards and vocals.
Let your imagination run riot!
PHASE
100 PEDAL This
big brother of the Phase 90 offers a broader
range of sounds in a larger unit. Along with
the speed control there is a four-position
rotary switch that selects four different
intensities, defined as preset waveform patterns.
Between the intensity and speed settings,
you'll find quite a supply of excellent sounds
tucked away in this orange casing.
Controls:
Footswitch toggles effect On/Bypass (red
LED indicates on) Intensity knob
selects one of four preset phase waveforms
Speed knob varies rate of phase sweep.
10
BAND GRAPHIC EQ PEDAL It’s
been said that money is the great equaliser.
Not anymore. Meet the newest member of the
MXR family, the M-108 10-Band Graphic EQ.
The M-108 gives players huge amounts of tone
shaping and level control in a bulletproof
enclosure. With its hardwire bypass, illuminated
sliders, input and output level controls,
and carefully chosen frequencies, the M-108
is unique in the stompbox world.
Among other things, this great equaliser will
let you tune your rig to any room in seconds,
create an earthshaking low end, restore punch,
level and treble response to a crowded pedal
board – and get more gain out of your
current setup than you ever thought possible.
And at £149 for this kind of versatility,
that’s just the beginning...
AUTO
EQ PEDAL If
you know how typical envelope filters work...
well, forget them, because MXR didnt
copy them. Instead, theyve re-defined
what an auto-wah can do to funkify your sound.
The MXR Auto Q from Jim Dunlop triggers at
any playing level, not just on your loudest
notes. The Auto Qs effects are amplitude
independent, so you get exactly the same effects
at high volume or low. Come out front with
your solo then drop back for a rhythm fill
your tone mods stay constant throughout.
Its all under your control too. The
RANGE knob selects how low the automatic wah
will reach. The Q control, already famous
on the Crybaby Wah pedal series, controls
the effects intensity by providing a
sharp frequency peak or a broader, more subtle
peak. VOLUME goes to 11, natch, or anyplace
below. The BAND switch selects the frequency
ceiling where the effect will dominate, LO,
MID or HI.
MXR has also added a whole new flavour to
the Auto Q with the RATE control. RATE dials
in variable shimmer that operates independently
of the automatic wah section. And the BLEND
rotary selects which effect has more prominence
automatic wah (turn left) or variable
shimmer (turn right). Straight up and youve
got equal doses of both!
Finally, theres DECAY in automatic
wah, it simply controls effect dropoff. But
when BLEND is set for some shimmer, DECAY
controls the transition from one effect to
the other. Start your note with automatic
wah, and finish it off with a shimmering flourish.
You cant get these noises anywhere else!
6
BAND GRAPHIC EQ PEDAL The
six bands in this graphic equaliser (100Hz
to 3.2kHz) cover the frequencies primarily
inhibited by guitars and basses. Each slider
delivers a powerful 18dB of variable cut or
boost. The M109 is very quiet in operation,
and the positive feel of the sliders means
that your chosen frequency curve will keep
you in shape.
Controls:
Six paragraphic slider controls enable boost
or attenuation up to plus or minus 18dB
at frequency centres 100Hz, 200Hz, 400Hz,
800Hz, 1.6kHz and 3.2kHz.
