Rob Chapman
"The Black Hand" demonstrate all
that is right with the current state of Rock
& Roll. They are clearly a revival of
a not too long forgotten art of setting a
pounding groove and then expanding it. A 70's
inspired jump back with a modern tinge. Effectively,
they make right the style of Free, Cream and
a gaggle of other venerable rock acts we've
come to hold in a higher esteem.
Guitar
player Rob Chapman plays in a virtuoso homage
to early Paul Kossoff. This is not to say
that he doesn't bring his own mesmerizing
and fiery magic to the proceedings.
