Formed in 2006 ,The Mentulls are a Young Blues Rock Trio, with roots of Blues, rock, Folk and progressive Rock and for many years been inspired and influenced by bands and artists like Jethro Tull ,Wishbone Ash and Gary Moore Their sound comes from Guitar, Keyboard and drums with Bluesy Guitar Playing, Rock Drumming And Electric Piano And Organ Sounds. Blues plays a major part in the influence of their music.

They have Supported and played along side Artists such as: Claire Hamill (Ex Wishbone Ash) Elliot Minor, Flossie Mallavialle ,Caterina Rea Stormcrow,Katie Coleman, Dean Heslop, Paul Cornwall, Martin Nesbitt, Suzzan Elizabeth Marrion and many, many more. 2009 saw the realise of their new Album ‘Seaside Sunday’ on Red Squirrel Records They Gig regularly round the Northeast of England and have played at venues such as : Saltburn Community Theatre, The Empire Middlesborough, Pinchinthope Hall ,The Studio Hartlepool, The Black Swan Guisborough, CIU Holiday Centre Saltburn , The Marine Saltburn, music festivals in the northeast, and many, many more.

They Play lots of their own material and a few Wishbone Ash, Jethro Tull Covers SOAP REVIEW-THE MENTULLS "Last night SOAP had the privilege to have brilliant young group THE MENTULLS as our guests. The Mentulls consist of three outstanding musicians (Andrew, Jamie and Nick) all teenagers, who played at a level that many seasoned professionals could not match. The half hour spot that they had to perform in went by so fast as everybody in the room were glued to their seats. People were coming through from the bar room to see them play, one lady visitor who was in her seventies was up on her feet cheering and shouting for more, as was the rest of the audience. The Mentulls duly obliged and performed two more songs to finish of their extended set. It was a super show that they put on and and without doubt have a very promising future in music. They were fantastic!"
