A new take on the classic double cutaway guitar we are
all familiar with, but take a closer look and you will
see how much we have improved the concept. High access
neck joint, 'select' American alder body, maple neck and
Indian rosewood 22 fret fingerboard. The unique Bubinga
heel extension provides enhanced mechanical coupling between
the neck and body, producing increased sustain and definition.
Featuring no less than three stacked humbucking P90 pickups
specially designed by Trev Wilkinson for this model, the
AV6P is the real 'tone hound' of the Advance Series.

takes each pickup from stacked humbucking mode to classic

middle positions (slightly overwound for better balance
with the WHHB bridge humbucker), Trev Wilkinson has
seriously increased the tonal firepower of the AV6H
by adding the extra ‘Roll Control’. This
means that the hot bridge humbucker can be rolled back
to single coil mode for additional tonal versatility.
A traditional 5-way pickup selector switch easily accesses
all of the sounds from the AV6H's S/S/H pickup layout.

The Vintage Advance AV2S offers a new slant on a classically-styled
single cutaway guitar, featuring a 'high access' bolt-on,
satin finished maple neck with 22 fret Indian rosewood
fingerboard. The unique Bubinga heel extension provides
enhanced mechanical coupling between the neck and body,
producing increased sustain and definition.
The subtly offset body is constructed from acoustically
chambered American alder, giving extra depth and breadth
to the resonance and additional personality to the tone.
Through-body stringing and an intonation-compensated
3-saddle Wilkinson WTB bridge deliver all the string
response associated with this style of instrument.
AV2SGB and AV2SSB deliver optimum playability. Both
versions feature a Wilkinson WVC humbucking pickup in
the neck position which can be rolled back to single
coil mode using the Vintage ‘Roll Control’.
Combining this feature with the 'Vintage voiced' Wilkinson
WVOB alnico V bridge pickup delivers a terrifically

Vintage Advance AV2H is a single cutaway bolt-on neck
style guitar, featuring classic tone woods in all the
right places. Acoustically chambered American Alder bodies
with solid maple top, enhanced with a double-stained flame
maple veneer. The addition of a bound ‘F’
hole gives even more tonal resonance.
AV2HNF and the AV2HHF have satin finish hard maple necks
and smooth ‘tight grain’ Indian rosewood fingerboards,
for optimum playability, and also features the unique
Bubinga heel extension, providing enhanced mechanical
coupling between the neck and body, producing increased
sustain and definition.
Through-body stringing and the intonation compensated
(specially shortened) 3-saddle WT3S bridge deliver all
the string response to get maximum ‘twang’
associated with this style of instrument.
