I've played my Fret King JD since 2012 and it's without doubt one of the most versatile guitars I have performed with. The variety of tones you can get out of it is simply incredible and it's effortless to play. A true work of art.

About Andy Basiola

Andy Basiola is an italian guitarist currently based in London, UK.  Andy started playing guitar at the age of 12 growing up listening to artists such as Randy Rhoads, Jimi Hendrix, Gary Moore, Eric Johnson, Joe Satriani...

In 2009 he moved to London, after winning a scolarship to study at BIMM, one of Europe’s leading music colleges, where I graduated in 2010.

Over the years Andy toured Europe with a number of different bands and played some of London’s iconic venues, such as: 02 Shepherds Bush Empire, 02 Islington, 100 Club, Beck Theatre, Barfly, Underworld, Wildfire Ferstival, to name a few.

In London, Andy has been writing and recording music with rock bands Kill for Eden and Future Shock, and working with top names in the industry such as TOMMY DE CARLO (lead singer of rockers BOSTON), Phil Kinman (Doogie White, Tank, Driven), Ade Emsley (Iron Maiden).

In 2015 he joined “the Toxic Twins”: Europe’s top Aerosmith tribute band as lead guitarist. In the same year he was also selected to take part in the "Vivaldi Metal Project" album, a project involving musicians from all over the world including Rick Wakeman (Yes), Mark Boals, Michael Lepond (Symphony x), Atma Anur and many more. http://www.vivaldimetalproject.com/

In 2018 Andy graduated with a BA (Hons) Degree in Creative Music Performance from Falmouth University UK, in partntership with DIME Online.

In the same year Andy was contacted by Tommy DeCarlo, Lead singer of american rock band "Boston" to collaborate on a recording project. The album will soon be released by label Frontiers Music.

In January 2018 Andy released his debut solo EP titled "Behind The Illusion" which features special guests and artists from the London music scene he's had the pleasure of working with. The album was released via CdBaby and it's now available to buy or stream on all major online music stores.

In late 2019 Andy joined glam rock band INDYA (https://www.facebook.com/IndyaOfficial/) with an extensive touring schedule. INDYA has performed all over UK and Scotland and was featured in magazines such as Kerrang, Metal Hammer, Powerplay, Classic Rock and radio stations such as BBC, Kerrang Radio, Eagle Radio and many more. INDYA has released their brand new album "Gimme Your Love" in 2019.

Andy is also an experienced guitar teacher and he teaches regularly in some of London’s best music schools and in his own studio.
