About Chicco Gussoni

Chicco Gussoni began playing music at the tender age of 10, studying with his father Silvio, a noted director, arranger, clarinetist and saxophonist.

Chicco joined the prestigious Conservatory of Milan aged 12, and he graduated from there in 1985 in Oboe. But the pull of the guitar was always strong. Chico's first was a classic model that he put steel strings on... to find that rock 'n' roll sound at last! He then set out to learn the six-string trade, and over a long and successful career has worked with the likes of Max Pezzali, Ron, Biagio Antonacci and Franco Battiato, Claudio Baglioni, Lucio Dalla, Francesco Renga, Nek, Patty Pravo – all Italian stalwarts – as well as a number of significant foreign artists.

Chicco is also currently working in television production, as well as making recordings and playing live performances and tours with a variety of artists.
