About Curtis Senior

Fret-King endorsee Curtis Senior began playing guitar at seven years old influenced by the styles of Eric Clapton Steve Vai, John Sykes and Neil Schon. Aged only 10 he made his first public appearance as guest guitarist with rock super group 'Nazareth' which inspired him to form his own band Enchanted. Enchanted went on to support David Coverdale's Whitesnake and Wishbone Ash on their European tours. Curtis wrote his first album in 1997 entitled 'The Beginning' and a second 'Raging Fires' quickly followed. After two singles the band eventually disbanded and Curtis forged a career as an in-demand session musician. He toured as lead guitarist with rock supergroup 'The Word' and was eventually snapped up as lead guitarist for several touring theatre shows including 'The Meat Loaf Story' and 'The Four Tops'. During this time he met his partner, and now wife, Kerry and formed the Ghost rock show. The production successfully toured internationally for 10 years across the UK, Las Vegas, Spain, Eilat and Dubai.

Curtis possesses a natural flair for performing and his outstanding stage presence has secured his reputation in the industry as an excellent lead vocalist, guitarist, bass player and teacher. His qualifications include a Level 6 Rockschool Teaching licentiate, Btec National Diploma, Btec Extended Certificate and Grade 8 in Guitar, Bass & Vocals. Curtis also holds a Grade 5 in Drums.

In 2009 Curtis and his wife opened the Ghost academy of performing arts in the Costa Blanca, Spain. This centre quickly gained Edexcel, British Theatre Dance Association and Rockschool Music Centre approval to offer recognised qualifications in dance, drama and music. The Academy recenty opened as East Midlands Performing Arts Academy back in the UK, where Curtis is Head Of Music.

To cap off his impressive CV, Curtis is MD and guitarist for touring theatre productions 'Queens Of Rock' and 'Guitar Godz'.
