Icepack Jackson started playing drums in in high school bands and then started working with older musicians which led the band at the time to Atlantic Records co-founder Herb Abramson  to trade the band free studio time for helping him build his second A-one studio. While working there, a school friend & songwriting partner stopped by and asked if Icepack and the bass player would join them at an off-Madison Avenue advertising agency called NO SOAP RADIO. This lineup led to the forming of the band THE TIDBITS that for a time was the house band at MAX'S KANSAS CITY opening for every major act 6 nights a week and recorded over 100 commercials and soundtracks also.  The Tidbits also opened 6 days a week for two summers after expo 67 in the geodesic dome in Montreal and opened for the blues originators like Roosevelt Sykes, Lil Brother Montgomery, Sunnyland Slim, Lionel Hampton and many, many others.

Icepack is honored to have on his new cd BK2BIZ, Elliott Randall, (Guitar Steely Dan), Rockin Jake, blues harp, Steven Mackay (Sax for Iggy Pop), Reggae guitar legend Hux brown, Will Bernard, Arno Hecht & Larry Etkin half of the uptown horns, jazz keyboard legend Rashid Lanie, June Millington of FANNY, Bruce Barthol, first bassist for Country Joe and the fish and songwriters Gary Knowlton, Paul Larkin, Doug Benson & Keni Fink.
