‘My Vintage Icon Series Bass is the easiest playing and most aggressive sounding bass I own. It’s my go-to bass, I play it on every gig and I hope to one have my own signature model.’

About Jacob Lucero

Jacob "Lil' Jack The Kidd" Lucero is the bass player, back-up vocalist and entertainer of Porcelain Hill, an indie/blues/funk/rock n roll band hailing from Ontario, California. Growing up, his influences ranged from classic rock artists such as Geezer Butler, Jack Bruce, Geddy Lee, Paul McCartney, to Funk/Motown/Jazz/R&B musicians such as Larry Graham, James Jamerson, Jaco Pastorius, Nathan Watts and Nathan East.

Before Jacob left to tour the nation, he was studying to become an Audio Engineer at Norco College and helping students record original music. He taught himself music theory, received some classical training in the classroom, and picked up stylistic flare from other musicians across the country.

Though a California Native who often frequents Los Angeles, and the Inland Empire, you can find him and his band performing around the country in local bars, venues, and festivals.

Porcelain Hill are a high energy, independent blues rock and roll band from Southern California. Perfectly blending blues, soul and funk, Porcelain Hill serve up heavy guitar riffs, thunderous drums, and melodic basslines which collide to craft sounds you don't listen to, but music you feel.
