About John Waugh

London based saxophonist John Waugh is a sideman to pop band, ‘The 1975’. He appeared on both number 1 selling albums released by the band and tours with them extensively. Performance highlights include Madison Square Garden, The London O2, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, The Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury Festival and The Royal Albert Hall. Recent session appearances include La Roux, Barns Courtney, Plini, Kid Giant, Moly McCormick and Ben Leftwich.
 
John’s most recent release, Dive, is a collaboration between himself and guitarist, George Solonos. Now available on all online streaming platforms.
 
John plays a P. Mauriat 67R Alto Saxophone in Dark Vintage finish.
