"It is the BEST guitar I've ever played. It stays in tune, gives me a lot more power to my sound and fits like a glove"

About Matt Cornish

2010 was a good year for Penguin, having racked up various accolades including playing the prestigious Leeds & Reading Festivals, the band now show no signs of slowing down. With new recordings promised and countless gigs being played, it seems their determination will see them grow in 2011.

"Penguin’s musicality – complete with shuddering rhythmic halts and powerful vocals – shows that this is not copycat songwriting – this performance is truly original. It’s already doubtful whether this band can get better, and for a moment we’re caught up by the performance and forget we’re meant to be reviewing the thing." – The Ark Magazine

"Penguin stormed through a set of new and old material, all of which included carefully planned stops and breakdowns to make any rock band envious, and 3 piece harmonies that made the hairs on your arms rise. Penguin were awesome" (Aaron Snowden - Leeds Music Scene)

"It is the BEST guitar I've ever played. It stays in tune, gives me a lot more power to my sound and fits like a glove.

The fretboard is a work of art, you can tell a lot of thought has gone into each detail – therefore you get the contours which blows all other current designs away.

For me it's the best of classic builds and modern reliability, like an old guitar pumped with steroids.

The pickups are insane, one minute your clean playing some old blues tune, the next your tearing wallpaper down with your guitar. I have nothing negative to say, it's flawless". – Matt
