"Apart from the excellent build quality and the famous Wilkinson vibrato, the not-so-secret-weapon here is the P90 - It really has the look and feel of a high-end quality guitar without the four-figure price label. Top-notch bit of kit..."

About PJ Wright

Born in Leicester, PJ's musical influences are many, particularly American music of the fifties and sixties, although his career has spanned the radical, London-based Entire Population of China, a time in California, backing big-name American "oldie" acts such as Bobby Vee and the Coasters, and being a member of Ashley Hutchings' Morris On Band.

Through the 1980s and 90s, PJ regularly recorded and toured as lead guitarist with the Steve Gibbons Band, going on to form the Fairport Convention offshoot Dylan Project with Dave Pegg and Steve in 1998, which is still going strong today.

PJ released Hedge of Sound, his first solo album, in 2006 and has subsequently toured here and the USA with Dave Pegg in the duo  A Night Off With Peggy and PJ , recording the acclaimed Galileo's Apology

Occasionally working with US folk-blues virtuoso Brooks Williams, and his bandmate in Fotheringay, Sally Barker, PJ's recent projects are the more instrumental Fifteen String Trio with sensational conservatoire violinist Katrina Davies and Mat Davies on bass and mandolin, and the folk-rock big band TradArrr.
