About Rowan Burn

Rowan Burn MIDASFALL UK-based post-rock quartet Midas Fall have built a devoted fanbase across Europe since their inception in 2009, recently releasing five-track EP As Our Blood Separates and playing a slot at Switzerland's Deadline Festival to rave reviews. The band also opened the Monotreme Records 10th Birthday Celebration, which featured post-rock heroes 65daysofstatic and Reigns. On the lookout for a new bass for recording, Midas's Scottish-born multi-instrumentalist Rowan Burn’s eyes fell on the Fret-King Blue Label Perception.

“It sounds great! It's incredibly well-balanced, with excellent definition when using distortion and delays. It also plays well with synths, which was a problem with the last bass I was using, but there's so much clarity with the Perception, it opened up the bottom end, complementing the synth sounds. I'm really happy with it!” Catch Midas Fall's mesmerising live show soon!
