It’s amazing how many sounds can be coaxed from a ‘one pickup’ guitar.
The cute Vintage V120 ProShop Unique, has all the sonic emotions of that one pickup magic and finished in Gun Hill Blue on Red and is one of the coolest looking guitars on the planet.
Initially a V120GHB from the popular Vintage ReIssue Series, the V120 ProShop Unique has been re sprayed with a white acrylic coating over the original Gun Hill Blue, followed by an additional red cellulose top coat.
It’s then all down to the expertise of the Vintage ProShop design team who have spent many hours carefully removing sections of each coat by hand in various stages, revealing areas of each over spray. The results speak for themselves, with authentic lacquer cracking and well worn areas of the body and neck, that mirror a bona fide replica of a guitar that’s had years of punishment on the pro circuit.
This one pickup guitar benefits from such a simple design, a highly versatile guitar with a modern approach loaded with the problem solving Wilkinson GTBCR compensating bridge providing precision intonation the full length of the fretboard, and a single Wilkinson W90SK with all the power, depth and high end chime for big power chords and soaring solos.
