Technical specifications describe the colour yellow as “Between green and orange on the spectrum of light, evoked by light with a dominant wavelength of roughly 575–585 nm.”

Of course, that’s not of the slightest interest to the Vintage team of highly skilled luthiers, they just thought that’s a cool colour and grabbed a V6 to create this wonderful, double cutaway electric guitar with a heavily distressed theme.

Like all distressed and aged models in the ProShop Series of electric guitars and basses, authentic and accurate natural wear and tear is achieved totally by hand, as seen here within all hardware, including Wilkinson WJ55 patented E-Z-Lok machine heads and WVC vibrato bridge, maple neck and the worn away yellow top coat revealing areas of the American alder body.

Whilst the Vintage ProShop V6 mirrors double cut models from the 70’s with vibrant colours, black pickup covers and matching control knobs, this superb instrument, loaded with high output WHS single coils in the neck and middle positions and a WHHBB open double-coiled pickup at the bridge position, produces a far wider range of classic tones to cover all genres of music, from blue grass to full-on metal.

It’s also the fine touches from the Vintage luthiers that allude to the individuality of each and every ProShop model, the gorgeous pearloid scratchplate for example and, that blue tipped pickup selector switch. Totally awesome.

Vintage ProShop Set-Up included;
• Fret-level, crown and polish.
Fingerboard dress and comfort treatment.
Truss rod adjustment and set.
Action height, radius, intonation and pickup height adjustment.
Nut slot regulation.
