When Paul Rose, one of the world’s most unique and widely respected guitarists asked for his own pair of signature guitars, based on models from the enormously popular range of Vintage guitars, he himself, faced a mighty challenge, how does he choose from so many awesome guitars?
With Paul’s guitar duties taking him all over the world as a sought-after session player, fronting his own band, and playing with a pantheon of the world’s best musicians, for which he needs a wide range of accurate and authentic 50’s and 60’s vintage single and double coil tone.
Paul finally decided on the solid bodied double cutaway Vintage V6™, which in itself, has become a firm favourite for guitar players around the world.
Working with the highly skilled luthiers of the Vintage design team, and adding his own experiences, he chose Vintage’s renowned Vintage V6™ solid body, double cut, bolt neck model to be the basis of this outstanding signature guitar. What emerged is the awesome V6 Paul Rose Signature electric guitar, in a worn-to-the-wood Sunset Sunburst finish, revealing areas of the USA Alder body, for a stunning aged patina, set off with an aged 3-ply vintage parchment scratchplate and distressed hardware.
Hardware which includes Wilkinson® Deluxe WJ55CR E-Z-Lok™ locking tuners and Wilkinson WVC vibrato and, to satisfy his needs for power and unmatched tone, this incredible instrument is loaded with a pair of classic Wilkinson WVS single coils at the neck/middle and a Wilkinson WVC double coil pickup with coil-tap facilities at the bridge.
Additional high-end appointments include, a superb ‘C’ profile Canadian hard rock Maple neck, 22 fret, 7.25" vintage radius rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays and a GraphTech® nut.
Do we really need to describe how this model is a delight to play with gig after gig?...ask Paul Rose.
“I’m delighted with my Vintage V6 Signature guitar”, says Paul, “Its performance is unparalleled both in the studio and on the live circuit”.
